Fickle By Nature

I got to practise my EQ over lunch today. I was slightly offended by a small little thing that sparked off from a comment. Let’s just call this person A for anonymity, who is the 2nd biggest ruler of the kingdom asking me to ask B (one level below A but up above me) to appeal to his royal Highness(number 1 of course) for an incentive that the neighboring state got.

Well, seriously I’d like to thank A for the thoughtfullness but then dont you think A would have a better say than pushing B to do the dirty work? I was not offended by that but I felt offended by the word appeal. I mean if his royal highness doesnt think I’m deserving enough, then let it be la…I have accepted the fact that I am not up to par yet. It’s called an incentive for a reason..if in their eyes I’m not deserving enough, then A asking me to ask B to appeal to his royal highness is like begging.

If something given to me rightfully I’ll be glad, but if I need to appeal and somemore need someone else(who needs to clown it out for my sake) to demonstrate my rightfulness on my behalf, I feel that this should not be neccesary. If it’s mine its mine, if need appeal and get other ppl involve,then its ok that I dont get it. I can always save up to earn my very own incentive.

Till the day I qualify for such incentive rightfully and automatically, I decided to keep my thoughts to myself , kept quiet and my mouth shut when probed over lunch. Just hope this topic doesnt come out anymore. I dont wish to explain the meaning of the word Appeal to A.

You dont need to understand what is typed above. It’s just a rant I needed to let out.
