Getting home was an adventure altogether for me today. This would be the 2nd time I drove through flood waters. The first being my second last driving class which my instructor brought me (ok..basically I was behind the wheel) through a Kampung which was on low land and the outcome from that was that I floored the gas pedal for my very first time in my life and got the front car number plate washed away going through the water.
Back to today, the rain was pouring and water was overflowing from the drains. Mind you…SS2 never floods….the most is water ankle deep that would subside into the drains. Today…the rain water overflows from the drains to the road. I think I wasted quite some petrol moving through the water…just glad no water came through the door into the floor board but the rain made it hard to differentiate between whats road, grass or drain. here’s some pictures…..exposure looks pretty bad , mind you I was driving, but you should be able to make it out with my narration and if u travel along SS2. Yes…time to get a better phone.
