Goodbye & Hello
Once again it’s the time of the year where I recall the 365 days that had passed by and welcome the new year ahead. Just like every year, I look back and reflect on the many choices and memories that shaped the year. Some bigger than others, but the smaller ones are not to be forgotten.
No doubt 2009 was a great year for me. There were many highlights in this year that had opened up my eyes and mind and I believe had changed the way I think. With big responsibility and bravery,I finally got myself 4 wheels to get around even though it means theres a debt waiting for me to repay. Rather risky to purchase my first car after 6 months of work but the smile and pride of my parents in my car every weekend makes it worth while.
Then there were the many opportunity to travel either for work or fun which were really splendid experiences I’d remember for years. I love travelling and being able to visit so many different places and countries in a span of a year is great..I will plan to visit some of this countries again on my own accord or perhaps with my parents if I could coax my mom out of Malaysia. Till then, being an armchair traveler and relating the interesting experiences to my parents when the TV features the places I’ve been to is still something I really enjoy.
Feeling kind of old this time around since I’m sitting home and avoiding the celebrations, traffic jams, fireworks and white sprays this year. Kinda odd that I’m not at the Curve having been there through Christmas & New Year 3 years in a row previously. But then, spending New Year with the family in the comforts of my home is just as fun.
I haven’t really thought of a resolution for 2010 but I do have some things in mind that i’d like to put to work in 2010, hopefully it will make 2010 just as wonderful as 2009 was to me =)
