Fickle By Nature

Warning! Long post ahead. *you may skip this and wait another month for my next post*…Just kidding.

Sorry that this had to be a rojak post but if you are expecting very up to date stuff from me, you’re better off reading my tweets….which are just as mundane. I’m very much still in the CNY mood….wished I could skip work and lay in bed all day or probably took time to pick up a book to read but unfortunately…I’m not my own boss, so I’d gotta get out on the right side of me bed (yes..its always right…left is where my lappie sits) wade through the notorious SS2 traffic and hopefully arrive to work on time…..Boohoo =(

Now back to CNY…..CNY was HOT! I meant the weather….had migraine for the first 4 days of CNY from the heat at home to the visiting. I think its time to reconsider getting an air-cond for the living room, but first i think I’ll need to find one that works with a password so that I could control the usage and prevent TNB from taking up my monthly salary.

The usual family visits and return visits are the norm and having my cousin back here from KK was something newla…I’ll be going for her wedding in KK sometime in August *without me parents*, so that would be another post in the near future. Then when the crazy bunch are back from their respective kampungs, they ended up crashing my place for mahjong sessions eventhough half the crowd had already started work >.<

Missed B61 alot….wished we had some place where we could play all we want and not have the nosy next door neighbour staring at you after you come home from breakfast with your friends after pulling an all nighter at 7.30am in the morning. But it was crazy……..who LOU SANG at 3am in the morning anyway…….WE DID! and I got it on video =P It’s my 3rd for CNY 2010, my forth will be this coming weekend with the Soulmates!

As with how CNY is celebrated everywhere, Gambling is something we cant avoid. We’ve been going at meager sum of 10 cents per “fan” in mahjong but when I went to my bosses house for CNY, I had a shock on how they played texas holdem Poker with stacks of RM50 in the pool…..definitely not for the faint hearted. However, first timers luck was with me and thankfully I went home slightly richer and not poorer with a good hand of poker. I hope its not payback time next week at Geralds house.

I managed to catch 72 Tennants during the CNY break, will buy DVD for my parents to watch. I’ll definitely need to re-watch as I think the screen was too big (probably coz it wasnt the best seats) and there were too many activities my eye couldnt catch. I walked out of the cinema very much entertained….I bet most guys in the cinema would work for free to be in Wong Cho Lam’s shoes in the Movie….who gets to be short/not that good looking and kisses the prettiest girl in the movie anyway? But undeniably…he is talented. He gets the same fascination I give Jay Chou for talent *NOT ACTING* , if only he had Bosco’s looks….I would rate him higher than Wang Lee Hom =)

I still laugh every time I watch this…

I wonder how Sandra Ng’s Fah Tin Hei Si 2010 would be like…I think I’ll have to get it on DVD so that everyone in my family will get to watch.
